eighteen summers…{littleton family photographer}

eighteen summers…that’s all i get with these boys.  and so far i’ve used up 13 and 11 of them.

sobering.

every summer gets just a little harder.  and a lot more complicated.    we have encountered many speed bumps this year.   all of us have learned a lot and had to navigate new roads.  and i suspect this year will be no different.

but we had a summer of ordinary moments.  and it was filled with simple and sweet days that i will always treasure:  hiking, local adventures, new friendships, swimming and everything in between.

as a parent still learning myself, i do regret the yelling and frustrating moments.  but i relish the smiles, giggles, hugs and days spent together as we trudged through it.  i am hardly a perfect parent, but i love these boys with everything i’ve got.  and i hope they will always remember that.

today my oldest gets braces.

yesterday we documented the end of this summer with a photo session.  oh how i cherish these.  especially the ones of them being themselves and with their instruments.  i am so so proud of them for all of their hard work in lessons over the years.

why do we wait for ‘senior photos’ to do sessions with our kids?

there is no better time than NOW to invest in professional photography.  i’d love to make some memories for your family too!  {you don’t need to wait for high school senior photos to schedule a session!}
