generations and perfect light…{littleton family photography}

…all were gathered from various ends of town. the light was perfect–bright but yummy. the timing was perfect–not too hot. and the session resulted in some of my favorite images of the year. they were so good and i loved them so much that i gave them to the family. i felt that they needed to have them. all of them. i was that proud.  (and wanted to spread a little good karma around since so much had been given to me recently!)

not much else to say other than thank you “G” family for always allowing me into your lives as an artist and friend and for shamelessly promoting my work to so many of your friends and colleagues.

(i’ve photographed this family since the young boy–a budding young photographer– who takes some pretty cool pics himself–was in his mom’s belly!  i entrusted him with my shiny new fuji x100s while i was photographing with the big cameras.)

here’s ryder during our fall 2012 shoot before his adorable baby sister was born.  i think this image shows a pretty good portrait of him as an artist and a cool big bro.

and here is a slide show of his wonderful images taken during our session together.  i honestly think he has a future in the business!

and here’s some of my work...

i just adore you all, your connection to each other and to life itself.
being around you guys makes me miss my family and wish we were all closer together.

oh–and darcy–those eyes of yours are just magical!

MB – just ordering a few pics to go out in the Christmas cards and checked out this blog. What nice things you say about our family! I have to admit that even though I absolutely hate getting my picture taken, I had a really great day and the pictures turned out amazing. Oh, and I have been following your trip to Italy on FB. What an experience! Hope to see you again soon. Love, Patty
