i shot my first international wedding this weekend in canada. it was a greek/afghan multicultural, action packed evening. i was beyond impressed with the warmth conveyed to me by both families, the bride and groom and the entire wedding party. rather than “just a photographer”, i truly felt like a family member (with a big bag of expensive camera equipment). we were treated to family meals, real/honest hugs (which i adore…as i am a hugger myself), luxury accomodations and an amazing mother’s day brunch at the Westin in Toronto with one of my best friends-the lead photographer Diana Lewkowicz Photography.
so rather than bore you with specifics–i am going to try and bring you along on our journey. i call this–a wedding in 13 collages: a photojournalist’s delight.
thanks dessy, salim, eleni, tony and the entire family for an amazing weekend full of greek and afghan tranditions, culture and most importantly–LOVE.
BTW-have an international wedding coming up–diana and i LOVE to travel! (hint hint–wink wink!)
