little orange tic-tacs… {littleton family photographer}

…i am so behind on blog posts that it’s embarrassing…and i truly apologize.

honestly it’s not because of the images, or the cool families, or the cool stories about how they came to me or the laughs we had, or the magical light that takes my breath away as an artist. it’s because i don’t like to write.  i have a degree in english literature and writing from penn state to boot (albeit from 1992–a long time ago).  still it’s sad.   i know it.

so-in the interest of you as the reader– i’ll stick to the facts….this fun family came to me as a referral from THIS FAMILY: one i’ve had the honor of photographing for the past several years now.

i’ve built my business on referrals and i am so thankful for them…thanks again jenny!

these guys were so fun and laid back.  and, quite honestly we just had some good ole’ fashioned fun together.  the mom saw some of my images taken at this location from my web site and knew this was where she wanted to go!  (she picked the perfect time of year and day to get the perfect light.  i love this spot (other than the cranky bikers who do not want me around most of the time–even thought it’s a public park…but i digress!)  the wagon was the perfect prop and we had fun incorporating it into our session together.

at the end of our session–just about the only thing we needed to keep the little guys’ smiles going for just a bit longer were some tic-tacs.  as soon as mom got those out the smiles didn’t stop!

i loved the quiet peace about this family.  i loved their natural beauty and gorgeous simple smiles.

let’s have a look at the images and let them speak for themselves.

thanks again J and family for trusting me to capture your first family photos in a long long time!
