it’s tough to be a natural light photographer in colorado as there are only a few hours of light perfect enough to shoot in. i usually set up appointments early in the morning and late in the afternoon/evening. i’ve been so booked and so busy that i forgot to check the early morning weather forecast and scheduled this poor family for 7:30AM. all i knew was that i was going to be a mild sunday and left it at that. well… this morning’s high was 18.
these guys were troopers and braved the cold to get a few images. of course we had to reschedule as about 10 frames into the session the baby had enough and bolted out of the shot and tumbled onto the cement. poor little guy. his tears were actually freezing.
note to self–check the weather before heading out. and be mindful of those little ones.
thanks for understand guys.
and for agreeing to try again next weekend.
here are the three good images we did manage to get!
